Who Will Die Episode 6: The Last Piece

The sixth and penultimate episode of the Who Will Die? Signature Story Arc is now available. "Reeling from the loss of its leader, a member of the Freedom Phalanx does the unthinkable." Contacts are Specialist Greer in Peregrine Island, and Protector Z-958 in Grandville. Level 40+. Free for VIP players, 400 Paragon Points (pp) for other players.

Tune into Darkness Control

In The Intrepid Informer: Issue #18, developer Phil "Synapse" Zeleski outlines the upcoming Darkness Control power set, commenting on each power and providing a great set of tactics to get you started with this upcoming Issue 22 goody.

Double XP Weekend: March 16-19

For one weekend players will double their experience points, inf, and prestige for defeating enemies, completing missions, and collecting badges that give XP. The Double XP Weekend will commence 7AM PST March 16 and end 7AM PST March 18. (Official announcement)

It's Spring (Fling) in City of Heroes Freedom!

The 2012 Spring Fling Event is now live, and runs from Wednesday, February 8, 2012, through Monday, February 27, 2012. Earn special holiday badges, temporary powers, and costume pieces. Read the official announcement for details on the updated event.

February Costume Contest: Failed Hero/Villain

Not every hero or villain can be a winner. For the February installment of our monthly developer-judged costume contest, we want to see your ideas for a failed hero or villain! Use any combination of costume pieces, and perhaps a name that doesn't quite cause criminals to rethink their villainous ways (or a name that doesn't inspire fear in the hearts of do-gooders!) and head to Pocket D on Virtue on February 24, 2012.
