Statesman. 1896 - 2012. RIP.

In a move set to change the entire world of City of Heroes Freedom, Paragon Studios has announced that Statesman will die in Episode five of the Who Will Die? Signature Story Arc. Titled Daddy, can you fly to heaven?, it will be released in January 2012. See the official announcement.

Winter Event 2011 now on!

The annual Winter Event is back, now with extra fluffy snow! Sip a cup of tea by the blazing fire pit in the Ski chalet or zoom down the ski slopes at dizzying speed. Two new additions, Instant Snowstorm and Duplicating Gift are also featured. The Winter Event 2011 runs until January 3rd, 2012. See the official announcement and also the official Events section.

Most of you wear spandex every single day of the year when you zoom around Paragon City, the Rogue Isles or Praetoria and at times you wish it had a more jovial or glitzy look. Issue 21: Media Blitz! Now Live; New Incarnate Abilities; New on the Market: Titan Weapons

The Paragon Market now features the much anticipated melee power set Titan Weapons. Cost is 800 Paragon Points. Don't forget the Weapons Pack: Titan Weapons #1 booster pack consisting of four weapon skins for 0 points for a limited time! See the official announcement for details.

Today's patch, called Issue 21 Media Blitz, ''introduces the new TPN Campus and Minds of Mayhem Incarnate Trials and additional Incarnate abilities, and is available exclusively to VIP players. The TPN Campus Trial is for 12-24 characters, can unlock the Alpha Slot, and earns Incarnate Experience for the Alpha, Judgement and Lore slots. The Minds of Mayhem Trial is for 8-16 characters, can unlock the Alpha Slot, and earns experience for the Alpha, Interface and Destiny slots.

Ten new Incarnate abilities have also been added to the Alpha, Interface, Judgement and Destiny slots.

Paragon Studios Review 2011; Titan Weapons Detailed; New on the Market

In an open letter the community, Paragon Studios review 2011. An increased player base is cited, the changes made this year summarized, and some hints of more to come. See the official announcement.

Phil Zeleski comprehensively describes the features and techniques of the soon to be released power set, Titan Weapons. Essential reading for anyone considering this set. This much anticipated power "...allows your character to swing around fairly large weapons like a railroad crossing, a fusion hammer or a massive sword. Not only does this set deal heavy damage, but it is also very area of effect centric. You can even build up momentum so that your next few Titan Weapon attacks swing more quickly." PC Gamer Reviews City of Heroes Freedom
