Archetype Enhancements

The features discussed here may be implemented in future issues and are subject to change before release.

Overview

Archetype Enhancements are sets of all-unique and attuned enhancements, one set per standard archetype and Epic Archetypes both having one set for both archetypes. Each set contains a special enhancement tailored to that AT's role (Stalkers have a placate, Kheldians get a changing bonus based on current form). Archetype Enhancements are also called Archetype Specific Enhancements (ATEs), Archetype Origin Enhancements (ATOs - note this is technically a misnomer), or are referred to by the actual archetype (for instance, Blaster Enhancements).

Each enhancement has a level 10 minimum requirement, but as an attuned enhancement, the enhancement portion will increase as the character's level increases. The enhancement portion is affected by exemplar as normal. Set bonuses will operate down to level 7.

Note that Archetype Enhancements do not need to be crafted; once claimed, they appear in the character's enhancement tray and are ready to be slotted.

Availability

Originally to be made available in SuperPacks only, feedback has made it so the developers will also offer these enhancements via reward merits and astral merits in game.

Superior Enhancements

While the standard archetype specific enhancements are attuned but not Account Bound, there are Enhancement Catalysts which will make the standard enhancements into account bound versions with higher enhancement values. They will be for level 50s only.

* Blue numbers inside square brackets indicate the special enhancement having an Enhancement Catalyst applied.
