The Sub-About: Introduction
Guy Perfect's the name and City of Heroes is my game. Oh... Well, I guess that was pretty obvious. Not like I'd be making a user page at the Paragon Wiki about Metroid Prime. No, City of Heroes definitely is not Metroid Prime. It is different.

I'm one of those tinkerers, the kind of guy who knows more than maybe I should for me and those around me to remain healthy. Not just about the game, mind you, but about computers. How the game works; how it thrives. It's one of my hobbies. I know most people out there cringe in disgust at the idea of thinking as a hobby, much less enjoying the act of doing so. Well, I'm different. Very different. Intentionally different, if you haven't caught onto my affinity for italics yet. One thing you may find out if you get to know me is that I make a point to be different. Traditions are next to the taste of NyQuil for me in terms of desireability.

As Halloween falls on Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, heroes and villains are preparing for festivities and a time of community. Unknown spirits will visit this world to impart on us activities and rewards throughout the duration of their stay. Trick-or-treating will become a hot trend, as prizes can be won and new foes can be encountered. Eight badges unavailable at any other time of year, temp-power costumes and a chance for an additional costume slot make this time all the more worthwhile.

Sew up a new costume; it's time to put it to good use. For more information, see <Font Style="color: #0099FF;">Halloween Event 2007</Font>.

Everything happens for a reason. I said that, and I mean it. If you ever want to know why, ask me.

I started playing City of Heroes when my brother forced it on me as a birthday gift in 2006. To me, it was one of those online games where your fate is based on a set of numbers and player skill has no noteworthy effect on the outcome. Well, it still is one of those. But this game is different, you see, for it has content! Good content, which kept me playing. Why did the Rikti invade Earth? How did the Hamidon become a big dop of jelly? How can your contacts keep standing forever without getting tired? Well, two out of three are described in-game.
+
Why do I always have to go learn about <Font Style="color: #0099FF;">Hero 1</Font> every time I want a cape? I already know about Hero 1. I might even know more about Hero 1 than you do. I'm just like that. It's my specialty. If there's an observation to be made, then by golly, I'm gonna observe it! ... I saw that!

<BR><BR>
I found myself in a world where the developers gave a crap and there was so much variety that I couldn't help but forget it was a game of magic numbers. So many gangs, so many back-stories, so many powers. I might go so far as to call this thing interesting. Badges are fun to collect, lab technician-stealing players are fun to exact revenge on, Ambrosia is fun to sell off to the nearest newcomer who doesn't know what it does... There's so much to do in the game, I actually think it's fun!
+
My activities in the game often lead to curious conjectures and hours of planning things out in a text editor using numbers that came from a top-secret, very <Font Style="color: #0099FF;">magical source</Font>. I know the game inside and out and I've found that it and my special little mode of thinking go together very well. There's a rather sizeable list of things I'd have done differently, but you know we all love Cryptic Studios. Give 'em a break.

I got a character to Level 50 and am now enjoying the world of villainy. The isles where the rogues go. You know, that place.
+
Personal skills are a very large pool to draw from, but in this case my strong point would be computers. I've been programming for at least two hundred and fifty years and I have no intentions of slowing down now. I'm known in other communities for my work with hacking video games, and City of Heroes is no different. I'm also known for my personality, but giving you adjectives to describe that aspect of myself would be subjective at best. Make your own inferences, you lazy bum!.. I'm a big fan of lame puns, subtle humor and jokes that you have to think about really hard without even being funny in the first place, so beware. I have a bit of a warped sense of humor that no one's ever seen and gotten out alive.

Since City of Heroes is an intriguing title, I've been sticking to it like half-melted plastic wrap. I encountered the Paragon Wiki by means unknown. Seriously, like... I have no recollection how I got here... But I've made myself a home and began kicking things into high gear. That's right: I've been layin' down the hammer!
Where I Fit In
<BR><BR>
<DIV style="text-align: justify;">

The Spruce Hammer, to be exact! In addition to looking just short of appetizing, this jewel is rewarded to those who care most about making the wiki consistent and complete, to the extent that they will edit and add countless articles just to achieve their goals. This one's for you: \o/ /o\ \o/ /o\
My main function here in the Paragon Wiki is to spruce up the content. I don't add content all that often. That is not my function here. But sprucing, boy howdy... I'm the head sprucer in seventeen countries and I'm not afraid to spruce it up a notch! Using this bulleted list, I'll detail some of the things that I do:
+
clr<BR>

+
<Font Style="font-size: 18px;"><B>Giant Monsters</B></Font>
*Revise text and descriptions for better clarification and expression.
+
<HR Style="border: 0px; border-bottom: 1px solid #FF9900;">
*Take wiki-quality screenshots of various things in the game.
+
*Get map information. You wouldn't believe how entertaining that is.
+

+
Huh. Three items. Oh well, it's still a list. No arguing with that.

All Hallow's Ween

As Halloween falls on Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, heroes and villains are preparing for festivities and a time of community. Unknown spirits will visit this world to impart on us activities and rewards throughout the duration of their stay. Trick-or-treating will become a hot trend, as prizes can be won and new foes can be encountered. Eight badges unavailable at any other time of year, temp-power costumes and a chance for an additional costume slot make this time all the more worthwhile.

Sew up a new costume; it's time to put it to good use. For more information, see Halloween Event 2007.

About

Why do I always have to go learn about Hero 1 every time I want a cape? I already know about Hero 1. I might even know more about Hero 1 than you do. I'm just like that. It's my specialty. If there's an observation to be made, then by golly, I'm gonna observe it! ... I saw that!

My activities in the game often lead to curious conjectures and hours of planning things out in a text editor using numbers that came from a top-secret, very magical source. I know the game inside and out and I've found that it and my special little mode of thinking go together very well. There's a rather sizeable list of things I'd have done differently, but you know we all love Cryptic Studios. Give 'em a break.

The Spruce Hammer, to be exact! In addition to looking just short of appetizing, this jewel is rewarded to those who care most about making the wiki consistent and complete, to the extent that they will edit and add countless articles just to achieve their goals. Giant Monsters

These are things that I've found. I'll continuously add to the list as I see things, even if they've been documented before. All values rounded to the nearest tenth.
