Short Synopsis: Jimmy Hayes was an up and coming musician who was drafted into the Army in the late '60s. Believing it would get him out of Vietnam, Hayes volunteered for an experiment designed to create super soldiers. It failed in it's goal, but gave Jimmy the power to project illusions in others. Hayes escaped to the San Francisco underground, but became a hero with the Regulators when he found out the drugs used to give him his powers were winding up on the streets and destroying the community. He now mentors young heroes and still does occasional hero work with the Angels of Wrath

Short Synopsis: When the fallout of Cherynobyl transformed young Ivana Burnya, her scared parents gave the child to the Soviet government who trained her to use her powers for the state. As the Soviet Union collapsed, Ivana was still being trained by the Russian state, but decreasing budgets forced her to flee while still a child. She first turned up in Kosovo alongside a Bosnian Serb fire-throwing mutant who helped Ivana discover her potential. The pair moved on to Chechnya, where he was captured while working for Chechen rebels. Not wanting to return to the country that stole her youth, Ivana fled to the Rogue Isles. Today she makes her living as a high-priced freelance assassin, who occasionally crosses paths with Milliken.
