Double XP Weekend

The Double XP Weekend that was commented on after the previous DXP was plagued with lag and server connection issues, has finally been officially announced:

• Starts: Thursday, October 8 at 8:59 a.m. Pacific (noon Eastern)
• Ends: Sunday, October 11 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific (3 a.m. Eastern)

PLEASE NOTE: This is also a Reactivation Weekend! ALL accounts will have access to Double Experience, whether or not you are a current subscriber! Additionally, previous Double XP Weekends have run until Monday's maintenance (which was recently changed), so the end point may actually extend beyond what it states.

Issue 16 Open Beta on Test

Issue 16: Power Spectrum has entered open beta on the US Test Server today.

Update - European access to the Issue 16 beta was introduced to the EU Test Server on August 28! However, this may only be temporary, so make the most of it!

The Open Beta Release Notes are available on the official City of Heroes website.
