Contact Introduces

I want you to meet a friend of mine who can help you!

Level 5-9

There's an engineer named Kip Cantorum who knows a lot about illegal technology. You should go see him; he might have some good leads for you on the Vahzilok zombies. Kip's business is in Galaxy City.

Kip should be able to help you.

You ever been to one of Samuel Pierce's parties? He's an event promoter, and he knows how to put on a good time. He also has a nose for trouble. You should meet him, see if he'll give you a tip on the Vahzilok. Mr. Pierce is promoting a new movie over in Kings Row.

Samuel is somewhat cavalier, but he wants the city cleaned up very badly.

Have you heard of Hero Corps? They're a business that matches heroes up with jobs. There's a liaison named Henry Peter Wong there who's taking on new clients. You should chat with him about the Vahzilok menace. Hero Corps has Mr. Wong in Atlas Park.

Wong is pretty gung ho about Hero Corps; there's no denying that he will keep you busy.

Information

Science Hero Liaison

Rebecca Brinell grew up as one of Paragon City's most brilliant young minds. She graduated at the top of her class and went on to MIT, where her experiments in radio-imaging are still the stuff of legend. After college, she had her choice of top-paying positions at many research facilities, think-tanks, and corporations. But Rebecca wanted a job that let her give back to the city she called home. She became a hero liaison for SERAPH in Paragon City. There, she could have access to the most radical scientists and innovative thinkers in the world, all while helping new science heroes find their place in the city.

This city's been through some hard times, and we've lost some truly magnificent heroes. I think you should learn about the fallen heroes of Paragon City.

Briefing

Kelly Graham never thought she was destined for greatness. That changed one night when she was walking home from work. She came upon an innocent woman being dragged into an alley by some masked men. Kelly called out for help, to no avail. As her fear and anger grew, she launched herself toward the alley. After a blur of flying, energy blasting, and healing light... Galaxy Girl was born!

Debriefing

Heroes like Galaxy Girl are the reason Paragon City's still standing. Always remember to honor her memory.

Talk to Clarence about the zombie attacks

Talk to Clarence Jackson

Briefing

It's come to my attention recently that individuals are being pulled off the streets by some strange zombie-like creatures. Dreadful, yes? There's a garbage man named Clarence Jackson who witnessed one of the assaults. I'd like you to talk to Clarence about the zombie attacks. Oh, and welcome to SERAPH, Scientific Experimentation, Research and Application to Paranormal Humans.

Mission Acceptance

I am depending on you to get the facts straight. I must know what we're dealing with.

Unnecessary Solicitation

We must learn where those zombies are coming from.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Talk to Clarence Jackson

Briefing

I was just doing my daily route, when out from the sewer pops this... thing! It was gray and rotted, and there were stitches all over its body. It just grabs Michael Thompson, the other santiation engineer who was with me, and yanks him down into the sewer! Please try to get him back, Character. I don't want to tell his wife what happened to him.

Defeat all zombies in sewer

Unnecessary Solicitation

If a man is missing, we must find him immediately. On your way, Character!

Mission Objective(s)

The foul odor you smell could not possibly be from sewage alone.

  • Defeat all zombies in sewer
    • Find Michael Thompson

You found Michael Thompson.

Notable NPCs

  • Michael Thompson/Michael Cooper (hostage)

Enemies

Badge villain vahzilok.png Vahzilok

Debriefing

They were handling this Michael Thompson fellow with care, eh? That could mean a lot of things, and most of them aren't good. This bears further investigation.

Go into the sewers and find a clue to Dr. Vahzilok's identity

Briefing

Reporters have managed to snap several photographs of Dr. Vahzilok, but we still have no idea who he is. See, Vahzilok always wears a surgical mask. I want you to go into the sewers and see if you can find a clue to Dr. Vahzilok's identity. If we can learn more about him, we may be able to stop him before he hurts anybody else.

Mission Acceptance

Watch your step down there.

Unnecessary Solicitation

We're no closer to learning who Dr. Vahzilok really is.

Mission Objective(s)

The smell of decaying flesh is nearly overwhelming.

  • Find clue to Vahzilok's identity

You found a clue to Dr. Vahzilok's identity.

Icon clue generic.png
Body
This body belongs to one of Vahzilok's unlucky victims. Several vital organs have been removed with the neat, precise cuts of a practiced surgeon.

Enemies

Badge villain vahzilok.png Vahzilok

Debriefing

You're right, Character, these incisions could only have been made by a surgeon. And a good one at that. I always assumed Vahzilok called himself a doctor because of his efforts to eliminate death. But it looks like I was wrong. This should limit our search substantially. Good work, Character!

Go into the sewer and find the missing patients

Briefing

I just got a call from Chiron Medical Center. It seems their patients keep disappearing! I have a strong suspicion that the mysterious Dr. Vahzilok is behind these kidnappings. He's publicly declared that he's trying to combat death; I wouldn't be surprised if he kidnapped those patients for experimentation! I'd like you to try to find the missing patients.

Mission Acceptance

Vahzilok's goals may sound worthy, but he is capable of anything. Remember that.

Unnecessary Solicitation

Find those patients, Character!

Mission Objective(s)

In the distance you hear the sharpening of a blade.

  • Rescue kidnapped patients
    • 3 patients remaining

You rescued the missing patients.

Icon clue generic.png
The patient's story
One of the patients you rescued told you:

'They said our sacrifice would bring eternal life to millions of others. They would have killed us if you hadn't shown up.'

Enemies

Badge villain vahzilok.png Vahzilok

Debriefing

I guess Vahzilok thinks it's all right to murder people, as long as his goals are noble. Pretty sick. You saved three lives today, Character; you should be very proud.

Deliver the data disc to Rachel Torres

Take data to Detective Rachel Torres

Briefing

The police department is asking for all the data we've collected on the Vahzilok. I need someone to deliver this data disc to an officer named Rachel Torres. She'll see that the department gets the info.

Mission Acceptance

Don't let this information fall into the wrong hands.

Unnecessary Solicitation

The police department wants that data, Character, and they want it now.

Icon clue generic.png
Data on Vahzilok
This data disc contains all the data SERAPH has on the Vahzilok menace.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Take data to Detective Rachel Torres

V archetypeicon stalker.png Ambush! Upon selecting this mission, you will be ambushed by a group of Vahzilok.

Briefing

Thanks, Character. The department's been having a hard time containing the Vahzilok, and this data should help. In fact, as long as you're here, we could really use some immediate assistance. There is a cave in Galaxy City that the Vahzilok have been using as a secret research lab. We haven't been able to muster the manpower to take it down, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could do the job.

Enemies

Badge villain vahzilok.png Vahzilok

Defeat lab leader and his crew

Unnecessary Solicitation

If Rachel says that Vahzilok lab is a threat, you should get over there at once.

Mission Objective(s)

A wet slick of sewer slime makes your footing unsteady.

  • Defeat lab leader and his crew
    • 2 hostages remaining

You defeated the Vahzilok and rescued the hostages.

Icon clue generic.png
Morbid research data
The research data you recovered from the Vahzilok cave is very disturbing. Apparently they are using the cover of night to conduct 'involuntary organ donations' in Kings Row.

Enemies

Badge villain vahzilok.png Vahzilok

Notable NPCs

  • Scalpel (Reaper)

Debriefing

You did a great job taking out that Vahzilok lab, Character. Rachel already called to say you have the police department's gratitude.

Patrol Galaxy City and quell any Vahzilok activity.

Briefing

Chiron Medical Center is tracking a disturbing trend. It seems that whenever the Vahzilok pass through an area, they leave an epidemic in their wake. People have reported hacking coughs, weakness, and fainting after witnessing a Vahzilok raid. I want you to patrol Galaxy City and quell any Vahzilok activity. Those creatures are a real health hazard!

Mission Acceptance

Start at the patrol location I've marked on your map. Then go on to the next.

Unnecessary Solicitation

You haven't completed your patrol, I see.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Patrol for Vahzilok activity (5 locations)

V archetypeicon stalker.png Ambush! Upon selecting this mission, you will be ambushed by a group of Vahzilok.

Enemies

Badge villain vahzilok.png Vahzilok

Good work, Character. I think we'll be seeing a lot fewer strange diseases now, thanks to you.

Decrease Vahzliok threat

Briefing

These abductions are becoming more and more frequent, Character, and something has to be done. I want you to go into the sewers and take the fight to the Vahzilok. Maybe we can discourage them from preying on our citizens.

Mission Acceptance

They are bound to be toxic, so watch out.

Unnecessary Solicitation

You haven't done enough work on that Vahzilok problem I asked you to look into.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Defeat 5 Vahzilok

Enemies

Badge villain vahzilok.png Vahzilok

Icon clue generic.png
Galaxy City briefing
Galaxy City is named after the late Galaxy Girl, who fell during the Rikti War. Though she had few super powers and never gained much fame in the world at large, Galaxy Girl was one of Paragon City's favorites. She was a constant presence in the skies since her appearance in the 1950's. She worked tirelessly to improve the lives of her fellow citizens, not just by fighting evil, but also through her charity work. No doubt she would be proud to see a new generation of Heroes battling the Hellions, a street gang bent on claiming Galaxy City for their own.

Keep peace in Galaxy City

You should be fighting Hellions.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Keep peace in Galaxy City
