A task force is similar to a strike force in COV.
A group of heroes forms a team for several missions strung together by a story line involving the task force contact and often many villain groups (it usually focuses on one). There are many badges associated with certain strike task missions or mobs that are unique to the task force.
The following is a list of Task Forces:
- The Rule of the Three - Positron
- The Fall of the Clockwork King - Synapse
- Clamor and Destruction - Sister Psyche
- The Kheldian War - Moonfire
- Citadel's Children - Citadel
- The MegaMech Cometh - Ernesto Hess
- Katie Hannon's Task Force - Katie Hannon
- Following Countess Crey - Manticore
- A Mind in Danger - Calvin Scott (No longer in the game)
- Soul of the Woodsman - Numina
- Explorers and Exploiters - Dr. Quarterfield
- The Legend of Ruladak - Sara Moore
- The Saga of Faathim - Justin Augustine
- The Saga of Lanaru - Faathim the Kind
