Talk:Monster

Isn't the Quarry in Eden Trial listed as a Giant Monster but is actually just a Monster? Kind of like all those other mis-tagged "Hero" characters that have the HP and power of a Lieutenant or something? I know for certain I've killed the Quarry in Eden a lot faster than pretty much any GM, and that's with a maximum of eight characters. ~ AGGE talk/cons 16:36, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm actually pretty sure he's just a "Monster", not a "Giant Monster". I didn't think to check that when I ran Eden a few weeks ago, though. -- Eabrace 17:28, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

To throw further kinks in the works, I just checked the defs. All three versions of Quarry (generic, Hive, Eden Trial) are all Giant Monster class. It's obviously closer to Monster in the Eden Trial itself, so the server's probably notching it down on the other end. The only way to check one way or the other is to go in there and see how many hit points it has. --GuyPerfect 18:34, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

From what I remember from the leaked I7 spreadsheets, what guy says is true, except there's a tag needed to use the GM Code. Anyone who takes a lowbie up against normal DE Monsters will quickly find out that the GM code is not in place. Anyway, here's a sceen grab. The DE "Monsters" have GM level HP but are mechanically AVs in all other respects except PToD. At least, that's the way it used to be. Zombie Man 20:38, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
