"Furu-tsusarada" is the romanization in Japanese of "fruits salad," though I'm sure they have native words for the concept. So "furu-tsusarada-do" (lit. fruits salad style) is trying to make it sound like a fighting style. ("Fruit" would have been "furuto".) I'd like to think that all the whining and posturing conceals a fundamental superiority--not a mean spirited derisive streak. Try to quell your inner-nerd. The voice that says 'uhhhh.... yeah... whatever' when someone tells you they enjoy making fruit salad.

There's nothing *wrong* with making fruit salad... ok yeah, it's a little weird to just bring it up and try to discuss it, but if you'd roll with the topic, you might have a little fun, instead of hurting this person who's trying to open up to you.

(note: the fruit salad example is not related to ruhelar tells--it's just an illustration of tone, and how tone is frequenlty misused to crush the human spirit)

(additional note: Fruit salad is not a euphemism... it's kind of fun to make, actually, because you can take, like, berries, and some sour cream, and a *little* brown sugar, and make kind of a berry-crumble thing, but not cooked, or you can combine varieties of melons with, maybe, some juice, or some fresh bay leaves, or parsley... I'm off topic)

and since I'm the person who actually introduced the term which hobo later boosted to stratospheric success, I think I should get a say in what it means.

Fruit Salad is the discussion of why healer is annoying, and the term healer, and anything that gets us the 'Most Whiniest forumest' award from other ATs. But, whereas the actual debate is off putting, fruit salad is mouth watering.

Get rid of that article, or damage control will be impossible. It's already spinning out of control, with amy telling scrappers. - User:Morrisri
