Talk:Soft Loading

Obsolete
This article is obsolete after 2008-03-05. Also, I don't think there is any reason to keep it around, as it serves little to no historical purpose. I can't seem to find a way to nominate it for deletion, so I'm hoping this will do. Perhaps nomination for deletion should be implemented, or a least explained a little better, Please? -PsychoBit 00:28, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- The {{delete}} template nominates an article for deletion. Where were you trying to find the nomination for deletion process? If there's someplace we can add info that'd make it easier, it'd certainly be worth doing. :) I'm not deleting this quite yet just in case anyone wants to comment on it. I'd be content to leave it up with the historic tag; I'd also be fine with it going away. I'll try to check back in a week or so to delete it, if nobody objects. -- Sekoia 00:42, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see any reason to delete it. It still serves a purpose in informing people what soft loading was and how it was used. Probably just needs to be rewritten to put it in a past tense, etc. Players still ask about ED, the purple patch, etc. My two influence. - Snorii 00:46, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- While I agree that certain articles like the one you just mentioned are important, this one is no longer implemented, and is mainly a how-to on a process that now is completely impossible. -PsychoBit 01:16, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
I updated the article to put it in the past tense. It doesn't hurt anything to keep it around, so I removed the delete tag. It's still useful to have around in case anyone talks about soft loading and wants to know what it is, or in case a player who took a break comes back and wonders why it stopped working. -- Sekoia 23:15, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
