Really Stupid Questions
How do you generate a complete new page ? Catwhoorg 16:30, 15 October 2006 (PDT)
- There is likely a better way, but I use one of two ways. I either search for the non-existant page name, which ends up with a "Create this page" type link towards the top. Or I edit a page to create a link to the new page, before it actually exists. Clicking on the resulting red link will take you to a page to create the new article. You can use the Show Preview button on the first article to show you the link without having to actually save the edited page.
- Oh, and one other Wiki tip. Normal practice on talk pages is to add new sections to the bottom of the page. Especially using that little plus sign (+) by the edit button, that sets up everything to start a new thread/chat section at the bottom of the talk page. - Sister Leortha 19:03, 15 October 2006 (PDT)
- The only other way I know of to start a new page is to edit the url. For example, if you want to make an article on Left handed widgets (yes, making something up), you can just type http://paragonwiki.com/w/index.php?title=Left handed widgets into the url bar and then select the edit tab. Or, if you're really good, add &action=edit to the end of the above url and it'll automatically edit. But for the most part, I do it as Sister Leortha said. Check the Help page for a link to the Wikipedia editing stuff. The first page helps a lot (but the docs really suck for trying to figure out how to do more complex things). The forums (link on left, should be the same password that gets you into the wiki) are probably a better place to ask questions. With the flood of posting currently happening, a question here might easily get lost and missed. -- StarGeekTalk page 19:25, 15 October 2006 (PDT)

Safeguards
There are exploration badges in safeguard missions - Cat picked up one in PI just now.
Safeguard missions are pretty hectic - more so than Mayhem missions - go STRAIGHT to the bank to stop the robber (first key).
Then hunt down the side missions - but be aware there are groups of vandals who destroy stuff and take away from your 15 mins.
Mags and I tended to split up - one hunt for side missions the other clearing the vandals (seem to use the hotspot spawn AI).
One other ting - the keys come with a time limit - once you trigger say the arson Side Door you have 3 mins to defeat the mobs and click the glowies else its side mission failed.
Are there pages set up for safeguard yet ?
- Nothing yet, afaik. The best bet will be to template them, like the Mayhem Missions. You might want to get a discussion going in the Forums... you had the bad luck of getting a run of discussion on your talk page instead of in the forums -- StarGeekTalk page 13:53, 14 October 2006 (PDT)
Welcome!
Hello, Catwhoorg, and welcome to the Paragon Wiki! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Feel free to fill out your personal user page so we can get to know you. There is a collection of Userboxes you can easily add there. Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.
If you need help, ask me on my talk page or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
Don't forget to drop by and introduce yourself in the Forum, which will use the same name/password that you used when you signed up with the wiki. If you ever feel the need to change your password, you will need to do so there instead of here in the wiki. And there's even a RSS Feed, if you're into that.
Also, make sure you take a look at the Help page. There is a lot of preloaded images, missions, and contact info, and what you want to add might already be there.
Again, welcome! -- StarGeekTalk page 13:07, 10 October 2006 (PDT)
Tsoo Red/Blue Ink
It's broken ingame. Check for yourself - Baalus Seth 11:50, 12 October 2006 (PDT)
- Baalus, Catwhoorg is doing the correct thing. I know that Blue Ink's description say "Red Ink", but I consider this a typo. More Info - Snorii 12:08, 12 October 2006 (PDT)
- Hi Catwhoorg, and welcome to the Wiki! =D
- As for the Ink Men, I did almost all of the Tsoo article, including the Ink Dudes. Ballus is right here, the in-game description says Red Ink Man and I copied it literally. It's one of the many errors one can find in game =/. I didn't know if it was better to correct it, or leave it as it was. /shrugs. I had forgotten completely about this, and I think adding a note to the bio mentioning this would be in order, to avoid further confusion... Anyways, you didn't anything wrong =). I should have clarified this long ago, and if there's someone to blame for this, it's me --Yakovlev 13:43, 12 October 2006 (PDT)
- Just corrected it. Made a note about this and put the Blue Ink Men bios back to its old form, not because the correction was wrong, but to avoid confusion.
- Anyways there was already a note about this in the Tsoo Discussion page...it's not a new issue. My theory is that the devs developed the Blue Ink Men departing from the Red Ink Man model (both models share powers), and forgot to update the bio. This is not the first time I see this kind of error.
- My apologies to everyone involved in this mess, guys =/ --Yakovlev 14:11, 12 October 2006 (PDT)
- Yep my mistake - Still a total noob! at this. Catwhoorg 14:21, 12 October 2006 (PDT)
- As per the link Snorii provided, it should be corrected if it's obviously an in-game typo. I would think an editor note would be better than an obvious note.
- ... Changed to corrected form (Blue instead of Red), added editor notes so anyone who edits it will see what's happening.
- In case you haven't done so, everyone should check over the reference list to see what discussions have previously taken place, and if you think some of them should be changed, bring it up on the forums. -- StarGeekTalk page 15:43, 12 October 2006 (PDT)
