The only info available about issue 13 is that it will more than likely be a big issue, according to the developers, after the smaller Issue 12.


Possible Issue 13 Content

  • A new custom "Story Arc/Mission builder", announced recently in an interview with Positron discussing future game updates: [1]
A Message From Positron
Matt Miller: I can't tell you how excited I am for our game's future, and although we have some major announcements yet to be made, one of the things I can talk about is a feature that we are planning. Similar in concept to our character creator, it allows you, the players, to create missions and story arcs for your characters and others to participate in. You'll be able to pick the map, villain group, and objectives, as well as write the dialog and any clues needed for the missions. When you are satisfied with it, you can upload it and have other players across all servers play it and rate it. Fame will come to the players whose stories rate the best overall. It is features like these that we never dreamed of including when we first shipped, but are excited to be able to offer players very soon.
  • Archnemesis/Alterego System (Possibly implemented at the same time as the custom missions/story arc feature)
  • Shields powerset: "Shields will be a defensive powerset, not an AT. They'll also be useable with any unarmed or right handed weapon powerset" [2]
  • A Moon Zone
  • `Solution for Villains and their "Empathy" problem. The word "Empathy" is Far,far away from that set.
    • Per Positron and Castle on the Split Infinity Radio Interview, Part 1 (around 15 minute mark)[3]
  • Base Improvements
    • The internal nickname for this issue according to Positron is "All your base are belong to us?" [4]

  • Graphics/UI Overhaul/Upgrade
