Summon can have several meanings:
- v. The act of creating a creature/critter/object, often conceptually through summoning or calling. (to summon)
- In power names: Summon Demonlings, Summon Dire Wolf
- In power descriptions: Zombie Horde, Fly Trap, Loa Bone, Ouroboros Portal
- n. A creature/critter/object that has been summoned.
- Usually referred to as a pet, but not all critters in the pet class are summons.
- adj. A power or power set that summons a creature/critter/object.
- Mastermind Primary powersets are summon sets specifically designed around summoning Henchmen.
- Many Controller and Dominator Primary powersets have summon powers.
- Dark Miasma, Traps, and Storm Summoning each have summon powers creating pets or pseudopets.
