:Agreed, Praetorian isn't an alignment, it's a category of character that starts out in Praetoria. A Loyalist is a Praetorian. A Resistance fighter is a Praetorian. Praetorians that have moved on to Primal Earth are still Praetorians. --[[User:K26dp|K26dp]] 03:32, 12 August 2010 (UTC) | :Agreed, Praetorian isn't an alignment, it's a category of character that starts out in Praetoria. I'm not sure if this is correct... there doesn't appear to be a separate alignment in Praetoria that is neither Loyalist nor Resistance... if you create a new character and log out before making your first alignment choice at the end of the tutorial, you default to Loyalist. --Patteroast 03:29, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed, Praetorian isn't an alignment, it's a category of character that starts out in Praetoria. A Loyalist is a Praetorian. A Resistance fighter is a Praetorian. Praetorians that have moved on to Primal Earth are still Praetorians. --K26dp 03:32, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- Starting characters are neither Loyalist nor Resistance; they don't make that choice until most of the way through the tutorial. They can continue as such even up to level 20 if they do not do any of their own contacts. Thus there is a distinction to be made. ~ AGGE talk/cons 03:44, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oops. I missed the line that says if you log out pre-choice you default to Loyalist. I hadn't come across that yet (only one character I made logged out pre-choice and then was subsequently deleted so I didn't get to log back in and see that. If that is the case, then the article should just be "Praetorian" and should be a jumping point for the content Praetorian characters have access to, IMO.

- In the tutorial, you definitely start off as Loyalist now (at one time, it was Resistance). The background to the self portrait and the contacts is red (Loyalist) and not blue (Resistance). Also the choice your given is Join the Resistance or Remain Loyalist. But how that relates to the traditional alignments is not clear cut. As a Praetorian you can easily and sometimes often jump back and forth between the two... Political Parties, shall we say and being Hero or Villain is irrelevant since either Party can do great Good or Evil. When you leave Praetoria, Party affiliation is irrelevant and you must chose one of two Moral Alignments. Zombie Man 08:53, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

So yeah, it's Loyalist
Like Zombie Man points out above, you definitely start the Praetorian tutorial as a Loyalist, so this nebulous "Praetorian" Alignment doesn't exist. This article needs to be nuked and the Alignment template needs to be revised. --GuyPerfect 17:55, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
