Overview
The pre-order version of Going Rogue (Box Set) was made available in March 2010, several months before the expansion's release (in conjunction with the release of Issue 18. There were two types of pre-orders available: An extended use for a couple of Going Rogue's featured power sets and a pre-order from GameStop. The pre-order from GameStop included a code that grants 5 special enhancements for all level 1 characters on that account and, for USA customers only, a Razor Sphex mousepad that features an image of Desdemona.
Extended use of Power Sets
The extended use unlocked Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning several months prior to Going Rogue's release.
GameStop Pre-Order
The pre-order from GameStop included a code that grants 5 special enhancements for all level 1 characters on that account and, for USA customers only, a Razor Sphex mousepad that features an image of Desdemona. Only one Going Rogue pre-order code can ever be used on any single account. With Issue 21, these enhancements will be a part of the Paragon Rewards Program. All the enhancements increase the damage of your power and reduce its recharge time by 16.7%. The enhancements retain their effect for all levels, but after level 20 cease to Proc.
Pre-Order Enhancements
Image | Name | Proc effect | Damage and Recharge bonus |
---|---|---|---|
Clockwork Efficiency | Your power now has a chance to cause additional Psi Damage | 16.7% | |
Mark of the Empire | Your power now has a chance to cause additional Energy Damage | 16.7% | |
Resistance Tactics | Your power now has a chance to knock down opponents | 16.7% | |
Syndicate Techniques | Your power now has a chance to cause additional Smash Damage | 16.7% | |
Will of the Seers | Your power now has a chance to cause additional Lethal Damage | 16.7% |
How do the enhancement bonuses work?
Much like Invention Origin Enhancements, these enhancements provide an unchanging bonus towards the respective effects. This is affected by Enhancement Diversification like any other enhancement.
What about the chance to cause damage?
From levels 1 to 20 the enhancement provides a chance to cause a small amount of additional damage. After level 20 this chance will no longer occur. In other words, the enhancements will cease activating their Proc effects.
Are the enhancements tradeable?
No. They are marked in-game as 'Not Tradeable', so cannot be transferred to other characters, sent by in-game email, or placed on the Auction House.
