Romulus was beaten and thus Imperious was restored to the throne of Cimerora. In order for that to happen, Romulus must depose Imperious and take his throne. Return to Cimerora. City of Heroes: Invasion Fan Comic Series

It's been ten years since the first Rikti invasion. The Heroes beat them back that time. The Second time, Hero and Villian fought side by side and brought the invasion to a halt. This time, the Rikti have taken earth.

A fan made series dealing with a third Invasion by the Rikti, Invasion breaks all lines of normality set with in the world of City of heroes. Vanguard has been all but wipped off the map, Longbow has been broken, the Isles are ruins, and Lord Recluse has been lost to the dimensions. With no unifying force, Arachnos as splintered. The Rikti have chosen this time to strike, and strike they have. In only a few weeks they have accomplished more then in the prior two invasions. The Rikti control the planet, but there are many people, both in Paragon and the Isles, who refuse to give in and fight on.
