Introduction

I've been playing CoH since Open Beta in late April 2004. I had been following it avidly on the early message boards.

I used to read and collect comics regularly, beginning in the late 1970s. I stopped collecting in the early 90s, as I felt that the quality of writing and storytelling had diminished somewhat, and that the extravagances with which comic companies were trying to lure buyers (multiple releases, gold foil covers, etc.) had gotten way out of hand.

I am a moderate altoholic, I have characters on all servers, but Pinnacle is my main server. With a handful of exceptions, all of my characters, including my namesake, first knew existence as V&V or Champions characters.
