For your dedication and hard work behind the scenes here at Paragon Wiki you have been awarded this Impervium Wrench. Most casual visitors may not see the results of your work, but your aid in ensuring that everything under the hood runs smoothly and this baby purrs like a kitten has not gone unnoticed. It may not be flashy, but this wrench is functional - and it's made from impervium, so it's guaranteed never to break.

History

In May 2007, GuyPerfect introduced the Spruce Hammer award to recognize editors at Paragon Wiki who make significant contributions in keeping the wiki looking good - either by adding new content, fixing errors, making similar articles more consistent with one another, or improving on the visual appearance of existing content.

By February 2009, I had come to the realization that there were a small number of wiki contributors who frequently made significant contributions in ways that were less noticeable to the average visitor. While making these changes might not always have quite the obvious impact that something like adding new images to an article or making a table look more visually appealing, the absence of these contributions would eventually become very noticeable as the wiki gradually degraded into a state of neglect and rotted from the inside out. These contributions might include anything from keeping the servers that host the wiki happy to spending hours of effort sorting and categorizing articles and images.

It was with those contributors whose work often goes unseen in mind that I created the Impervium Wrench award.

Eligibility

Anyone who makes any significant contribution to the wiki that is not easily noticed without mining the Recent History log is eligible for this award.

Also note that this award is not mutually exclusive of the Spruce Hammer. It is entirely possible that the same user may have impact on both visible and non-visible aspects of the wiki, and there is no reason that both accomplishments should not be recognized.

Submitting Nominations

Nominations for the honor of wielding the Impervium Wrench may be submitted at any time via PM on the Titan Forums. Nominations should include the user name of the editor being nominated and a list of any contributions that the user making the nomination feels make their nominee eligible for the award.
