Does anyone still actually use this style of hami raid? I don't believe we've used Mastermind teams on Virtue in a year or maybe even two. Villain and Hero raids are actually fairly similar now, you have a yellow aggro team (brutes mostly vill side and tanks mostly hero side) a Yellow spike team (melee), the blue assault teams and generally at least one Hami Taunter on a team with support. Spikers take down yellows while assault takes down the blues, everyone works to take down the greens, you then fight Hamidon to 75%, 50%, and push straight through 25%. There also isn't a pull out for each bloom anymore either. - [[User:Ransim|Ransim]] 20:50, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

Random?

Question from a lowbie: Does the reward screen specify what are the random recipe/random HO you'd receive? - Skarmory The PG 17:04, 4 April 2007 (PDT)

Nope. It just prompts you with choices for "Hamidon Enhancement" or "Rare Recipe." Exactly what you get is a mystery until you get it. --GuyPerfect 17:41, 4 April 2007 (PDT)

Essence of the Earth

Can you pop an EoE before the mito bloom and thus be able to escape the awful AoE from a full set of mito pounding you? -- Kalon 02:52, 9 August 2007 (EDT)

Justice Style

I would love to make a write-up for Justice's raiding pattern. I've found Justice Heroes to be the most successful and frequent raiding to happen. It's down to a science, and that science is fairly significantly different than what's laid out here. A typical raid takes about an hour or less, and there are very few failed raids (unless they are spontaneous, but even most spontaneous raids are successful). -Aggelakis 18:37, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

I've been thinking that maybe the strategies for the raids should actually be split into a separate article and categorized under Player Guides. (And linked from this article, naturally.)
The raid I took part in on Triumph used a slightly different strategy from the one outlined here, too. We had two yellow Mito teams, a set of Hami taunters, and everyone else attacking the blue and green Mitos. Each yellow team was composed of three tanks with EoEs and 5 attackers/buffers.
Once the Hami taunters had established aggro, each yellow tank would take a different Mito and taunt while the rest of the yellow teams took each of the yellow Mitos out one by one. The main attack force would simultaneously begin working on the green and blue mitos.
As the yellow mitos fell, the tanks would join the yellow attack team and move to the next mito. When all the yellows were down, the yellow mito team joined the main attack team in the middle to help clear the rest of the mitos. When the mitos were clear, we turned on Hami. Repeat for each bloom.
And the tactics red-side are entirely different. MMs spamming pets to hold Hami aggro rather than having Brutes use Taunt, for instance.
I think it would be worth splitting the strategy out and creating a heading for each server's preferred tactics on each side. --Eabrace 20:30, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
