What level range is Flux?

Although he is listed as level 5 - 9, I had him give missions correctly through, and completed Frostfire at level 15 (and it was listed as a level 15 mission). Unsure if this is normal or not. Taosin 14:52, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

Had the same experience today. Don't want to update the article without a more thorough understanding of how the level ranges are determined, but this seems inconsistent to me. Redoubt 11:01, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Level ranges are determined by what levels the contact will allow you to start a story arc or a non-story mission. It is, however, entirely possible that something may have changed at some point that now makes Flux's level ranges different. If you were level 10 before you first spoke to Flux and he still opened up his arc, then his range has definitely changed. Once a story arc is open, however, the arc will remain open until you finish it. For example, if you were to run the first mission of David Wincott's arc at level 5 and then leveled all the way to 50 without running any more of his missions, you would still be able to return to the Hollows and continue to get missions from Wincott until you finish the arc. (The arc would not be worth XP since the max arc level is 9 and the highest level of any spawns you might find in the mission would be something like 11 or 12 when set for a full team of 8.)
So I guess the first question to address is: What level were you when you picked up your first mission from Flux?
I have a level 10 that hasn't run any Hollows content yet. I could use her to check whether or not Flux will offer any missions starting at 10. --Eabrace Healthbar notify phone.png 21:08, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
