Pool A (Critters)

Recipes from pool A are obtained by defeating enemies. Each time you receive a reward for defeating an enemy, the enemy defeated has a random chance of dropping one pool A recipe. (Giant Monsters are the exception to this rule.)

The level of a dropped pool A recipe is determined by the level of the mob that drops it. For example, if a level 34 mob is defeated, the any uncommon or rare recipe dropped will be level 34.

Are Common IO recipes included in the pool A drops?

Pool B (Missions)

Recipes in pool B are awarded for completing missions. Every time you complete a mission, each team member who receives the mission completion bonus will have a random chance of obtaining a pool B recipe.

Is drop level based on mission level or character level?

Pool C (Task Forces)

Recipes in drop pool C are awarded by selecting them from the reward table presented at the end of any task force. As such, the chance of a drop is 100% at task force completion (provided you choose the recipe as your reward), leaving only the actual recipe awarded to chance.

The level of a dropped pool C recipe is dependent on the level of the character claiming the reward. For example, if a level 42 character completes a task force and claims a recipe as a reward, the level of the recipe dropped will be 42.

Pool D (Trials)

Recipes in drop pool C are awarded by selection from the reward table presented at the end of any trial. As such, the chance of a drop is 100% at trial completion (provided you choose the recipe as your reward), leaving only the actual recipe awarded to chance.

The level of a dropped pool D recipe is dependent on the level of the character claiming the reward. For example, if a level 27 character completes a trial and claims a recipe as a reward, the level of the recipe dropped will be 27.

Pool E (Minions Only )

Recipes in the pool E are similar to recipes in pool A in that they are rewarded for defeating enemies. Pool E recipes, however, are only awarded for defeating enemies ranked as minions. (It is possible for a single defeated minion to drop both a pool A and a pool E recipe.)

All recipes in drop pool E are level 10 recipes, regardless of the level of minion defeated.
