(Background: Generally strange structure in addition to typos fixed. It is "Vicious," not "Viscous," and the statue was never called "Galazy girl," it was just a statue of galaxy girl. To say "The very hero it was named after," is weird.)

Overview

Once a small, sheltered district near the heart of Paragon City, Galaxy City has been devastated by a Shivan meteor attack. New super-powered beings are caught up in the action, and must choose what path to take once the dust settles.

Background

Galaxy City, once known as Paragon Heights, was one of the jewels of Paragon City. Formerly a home to an array of breathtaking statues, they stood as tributes dedicated to many fallen heroes.

The city was renamed after the post-Rikti-restoration, in honor and remembrance of Galaxy Girl, a.k.a. Kelly Graham,a favorite of Paragon Heights. A darling sweetheart to everyone who called the area home, and a kind and compassionate matron to her extended family, Kelly was a true daughter of the neighborhood. A proposal was put forward during the rebuilding to not only raise a tall monument to her, but to rename the area Galaxy City after one of their own. An impressive statue of Galaxy Girl was erected during the rebuilding, and it stood gracefully amidst the former city's skyline, holding up her hands to the clouds.

The district was formerly a hub for many heroes entering Paragon City, them seeking aid and training from the famous Back Alley Brawler as many dealt with a local Hellion problem. That comparatively peaceful time ended with a vicious attack, when meteors carrying Shivans landed and devastated the pristine city. Taking advantage of the situation, Lord Recluse and Arachnos entered the area, seeking a way to take advantage in the chaotic aftermath. Vanguard and The Freedom Corps have been called in to assist with the Shivan threat, and many new super-powered beings are caught in the crossfire.
