Short Synopsis: Ron Silverman was an electrical engineer for Wey Industries. He performed regular maintenance on the generators of Wey's main buildings. One day, on a routine check-up, something happened. He had shut off power to the generator in order to fix a problem he'd seen. When inside the generator, though, it somehow turned on. Ron was subjected to thousands of volts of electricity at once. Much to his surprise, however, it didn't kill him. He stumbled back into the control room, unsure of what was happening. Every electrical appliance in the room somehow turned on. Eventually he determined that he could create and control the very force which almost killed him. With his new powers, he quickly gained popularity as a national superhero. He partnered with long-time superhero fried Giganaut in protecting the streets. The two co-founded the World Super Heroes Organization in an effort to bring about a new generation of crime-fighting superheroes. Power Line's influence even reached as far as Statesman and Lady Grey, and he has worked with both on several occasions. Power Line is an honorary member of the Freedom Phalanx and of the Vanguard.
