Introduction
I have never before attempted to work with editing a Wiki, but have used this site so frequently, I feel it is only fair, in a way, to try to improve it in what areas I can. I am exceedingly willing to learn about this process, and with my background in programming (in High School, and a little in College), I hope to be a fast learner.
About Me
In-Game
I have been subscribed to City of Heroes since just after the release of Issue 10 (September of 2007). However, I began my Trial of the game sometime after the release of Issue 9. I began playing on a Controller (Wylde-Fire at the time) on Infinity Server, and have been hooked ever since. I have expanded to playing on Justice, Guardian and most recently Exalted as well. Wylde-Fire has since gone Rogue, and now resides on Justice as Pointsphere, my resident Badging character.
I enjoy running Task/Strike Forces with my in-game friends, where we fail at RP over and over again. But, what I enjoy most of all about this game, is the creation of the character itself, and how it develops more and more flavor as the levels roll by. I can spend hours upon hours creating costumes, then still more hours trying to come up with a perfect name (a process I usually enjoy). And then of course there is badging! I love earning any and all badges in the game, and have a good deal of them on Pointsphere... still looking toward getting that 1250 Badges badge.
Real Life
Now a bit about me in real life: I am from Wisconsin but now reside in Michigan. I am in the homestretch of my Masters of Social Work program. I live with my significant other (who also plays City of Heroes) and my dog and three cats. I work third shift at a residential treatment facility for adolescent males. It is a rewarding job, but I do hope to be able to transition up the totem-pole just a bit once I have my Masters.
Symbol
The symbol at the top of the page incorporates the avatar I use on the official City of Heroes forums with a tribal design of my own making. The avatar image itself is an image inspired by the propaganda-like logo representing the mostly evil Channcellor in the movie 9. Of course, that particular logo is itself inspired by socialitst/communist iconography used on flags and other propoganda (which is regrettable in retrospect). In my case, I was taken by the simple shape and lines, and bold use of my favorite colors. From the original Chancellor image, I altered it to resemble two back-to-back 3s in black, and two front-to-front 7s in white on the bottom around the arrowhead. This symbol has served as an internet representation of me for over two years now.
Projects
Future
- I am most interested in graphic-related updates or visual consistency (or page design) issues on the Wiki. I have a background working with Newspaper layout, and thoroughly enjoy messing around in Photoshop. So, if you notice anything that fits those criteria, feel free to suggest it to me on my talk page.

Character List
I have a bunch of characters, somewhere around 40 or so at last count, but always a few more every new Issue. My goal is to have one of each powerset in use across my account with as few repeats as is possible (i.e. create a Cold Domination Defender, but then avoid using that set when I create an Ice Controller). I have a page at CIT where one could peruse them if one so wished (there is a link in my Userboxes above).
I am also in the process of creating a page discussing each of my characters in a bit more depth than just their badges over on my Ouroboros Portal page (also linked to in my Userbox). My user page there lists all of my characters, and will then link to each character that has a page of his own.
