Overview
Notes
- Formed from NCsoft purchasing Cryptic's half of the City of Franchises "Intellectual Property". Along with this, most of the current dev population of the game moved over to the new studio.
- Listing of all known dev's who are moving needed to fill staff list till more info is released.
- Page name and category will be very likely to change soon when more information is available.
- Devs had a month to move out of Cryptic offices over to new studio (15 miles away from old place). This means they're suppose to be in by December (exact day of official move being completed was 12/18/07).
- Studios finalized name and logo are expected to be announced shortly after move is complete.
- "all the programmers and other design staff that are not currently under signature names" this is only a portion of the ppl listed for Cryptic as a number where moved off when CoV was finished to work on other titles.
- Cryptic Studios listing on wiki has OLD job positions for where ppl are listed as. Promotions and large amount of swappage has occurred.
- Ghost Widow (Developer) carried over, but name hasn't been reveled yet to general public, so can't be sorted.
- We still have Pohsyb, but he's on his third box now.
- 15 (was 18) of the 19 positions for new devs are still open.
Origin of the Name
Its the North California branch of NCsoft. This name is most likely temporary and will likely changed soon. Also notable, that NCsoft also refers to this branch internally as "Mountain View".
