User talk:Deetes
Welcome!
Hello, Deetes, and welcome to the Paragon Wiki! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Feel free to fill out your personal user page so we can get to know you. There is a collection of Userboxes you can easily add there. Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.
If you need help, ask me on my talk page or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
Don't forget to drop by and introduce yourself in the Forum. It will require a separate registration (login and password), but most users use the same username in both places. There's even a RSS Feed, if you're into that.
Also, make sure you take a look at the Help page. There is a lot of preloaded images, missions, and contact info, and what you want to add might already be there.
Again, welcome! - Snorii 13:21, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Instead of copying the contents of the userboxes, simply use the template names. The above text produces the list on the right. This also does not place your user page in inappropriate template categories.
See the template guide on wikipedia for more on how to use templates.

The Way of the Wiki
Thanks for the help. I come from old school notepad HTML programming. I like the possibilities of wiki, and it's usability. Unfortunately there's no easy way to jump in, so please bear with me as I try to navigate and learn the way of the wiki.

For some reason I also can't seem to figure out the friggen signature codeing. Can anybody help me with that and fixing the time zone issue?
- Sign talk-page changes with four tildes (~~~~) to automatically place your username and a timestamp.
- Regarding the time zone issue, do you mean the time that shows in the timestamp? Because that shows UTC no matter what. Otherwise, you can set Date and Time in Special:Preferences. -- Aggelakis 01:02, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
