Part: One

Briefing

Fine, then, but I did warn you.

Eons ago there was a darkness which threatened to devour one of the many Earth's within the multiverse. It had legions of demons, bound with a dark substence which contained its own consciousness. I need your help, and I'm neither confirming nor denying whether you really helped me or not.

I cannot send you directly to this event. That would yield no good; perhaps even make matters worse. I will start you off slow, and send you to the same time at which I arrived when I traveled back to help myself with this event.

It's really not that confusing, by the way: I'm sending you to the time that I first went to when I joined Ouroboros. I won't know you yet, so introduce yourself.

Mission Objective(s)

This war-torn beach is riddled with shadow-creatures; the air is cold enough to tell that the almost-pitchblack sky has been dark for a while.

Debriefing Err, I didn't get a chance to say it, so: thanks. And you look better fighting than you do sitting and drooling as I brief you. What? It's a compliment!

Part: Two

Briefing

You've proven yourself, even though I already know most of what will happen. Anyway, on to task number two: even before your advent into my world and my time, I, or at least the younger me, was killed. I was swimming in the River of Styx when I was dragged aside by Hades. My psychotic uncle had ordered my impisonment, and well, as you can probably tell, I want you to break me out.

I need you to travel to the underworld of my time and help me free my younger-self.

Right, then, just enter the same Aspect of the Pillar again. Oh and don't hurt Hades; since you're not from the same dimension, he has no jurasdiction over you. The real target is the one who caged me like a beast...

... family feuds, heh.

As you step foot into the caverns of the underworld, you feel a spectral chill only previously matched by the Envoy of Shadows.
