Overview
Paragon Rewards include badges, powers, costume pieces, base items, gameplay perks as well as access to game features otherwise restricted to VIP and Premium Players (Controller and Mastermind archetypes, the Invention and Architect systems).
Rewards Tiers
Tier 1 (Rookie)
- It takes one reward token to complete this tier and open Tier 2.
- Free Players occupy this tier
Tier 2
- It takes one Reward Token to complete this tier and open Tier 3.
- This tier provides access to huge avatar body types for character creation, access to supergroups, access to the trade window, access to in-game email, and the ability to play through stories in the Mission Architect Entertainment System.
- Spending a reward token in this slot will permanently enable access to Trenchcoats and grant the badge name here badge for all characters the account. It will also grant you reward to be filled in later each time a token is placed here.
Tier 3
- It takes three reward tokens to complete this tier and open Tier 4.

Tier 4

There are other awards that are unlocked automatically upon reaching a certain tier; for instance, Controllers and Masterminds are restricted to Tier 5 (which requires accruing 9 reward tokens), but do not require spending a reward token to unlock them. Of course, both archetypes can be unlocked prior to this with a Paragon Points purchase on the Paragon Market. Similarly, the Mission Architect unlocks at various stages, beginning with being able to earn rewards at Tier 4 (6 tokens) and being able to create stories at Tier 6 (14 tokens); again, access to Mission Architect is available early on the Paragon Market.
