How to Get
Defeat 25 "signature heroes", initially encompassing Mayhem Mission heroes, but later expanded to many different groups.

Notes
- The Hero Slayer badge is awarded to characters of the villain and rogue alignments. The same badge on heroes and vigilantes is called Bloody Hands.
- Any enemy from the following groups count:
- Does not have to be of Hero rank to count.
- Other good places to find groups of enemies that count include the Lord Recluse Strike Force, signature heroes in Recluse's Victory, and the Take out the Vindicators mission from Abyss.
- Demons summoned by the hero Infernal count as of Issue 7 and Tuatha summoned by the hero Woodsman reportedly count. is this still true??
- The equivalent Safeguard Mission badge is Villain Disruptor.
History
Prior to Issue 16, Hero Slayer required defeating 100 heroes.
