Overview
Morality Missions are obtained by accepting a Morality Tip, obtained after completing 10 Alignment Missions for a particular alignment. Completing a Morality Mission allows a character to either change or reaffirm their alignment.

Alignment Changes
When a character wishes to change alignments, they must be in an appropriate zone. For instance, a vigilante wishing to become a villain must be completing a villain Morality Mission in the Rogue Isles.
- A hero doing a vigilante Morality Mission will become a vigilante.
- A hero doing a hero Morality Mission will reaffirm his or her alignment choice as hero, and can begin accruing time toward the hero alignment power, Call to Justice.
- Reaffirmed heroes can obtain Hero Alignment Merits; additionally, they gain access to Fort Trident. Heroes can only access Paragon City zones, PvP zones, and cooperative zones.
- A hero that reaffirms their alignment the first time obtains 50 Reward Merits.
- Further reaffirmations reward 1 Alignment Merit instead.
- A villain doing a rogue Morality Mission will become a rogue.
- A villain doing a villain Morality Mission will reaffirm his or her alignment choice as villain, and can begin accruing time toward the villain alignment power, Frenzy.
- Reaffirmed villains can obtain Villain Alignment Merits; additionally, they gain access to The Crucible. Villains can only access Rogue Isles zones, PvP zones, and cooperative zones.
- A villain that reaffirms their alignment the first time obtains 50 Reward Merits.
- Further reaffirmations reward 1 Alignment Merit instead.
- A vigilante doing a villain Morality Mission will become a villain.
- A vigilante doing a hero Morality Mission will become a hero.
- A vigilante doing a vigilante Morality Mission will reaffirm his or her alignment choice as a vigilante, and can begin accruing time toward the vigilante alignment power, Fear Incarnate.
- Vigilantes cannot obtain alignment merits or access either of the special True Alignment lounges, but they have full access of all hero and villain zones, PvP zones, and cooperative zones.
- A vigilante that reaffirms their alignment the first time obtains 30 Reward Merits.
- Further reaffirmations reward 60 Reward Merits instead.
- A rogue doing a hero Morality Mission will become a hero.
- A rogue doing a villain Morality Mission will become a villain.
- A rogue doing a rogue Morality Mission will reaffirm his or her alignment choice as a rogue, and can begin accruing time toward the rogue alignment power, Duplicity.
- Rogues cannot obtain alignment merits or access either of the special True Alignment lounges, but they have full access of all hero and villain zones, PvP zones, and cooperative zones.
- A rogue that reaffirms their alignment the first time obtains 30 Reward Merits.
- Further reaffirmations reward 60 Reward Merits instead.
