Welcome!
Hello, Thirty7, and welcome to the Paragon Wiki! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Feel free to fill out your personal user page so we can get to know you. There is a collection of Userboxes you can easily add there. Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.
Don't forget to drop by and introduce yourself in the forum. If you need help, ask me on my talk page or ask on the forums and someone will try to to answer your questions shortly.
Also, make sure you take a look at the Help page. There are a lot of preloaded images, missions, and contact info templates, and what you want to add might already be there.
Again, welcome! -- ~ AGGE talk/cons 06:52, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
Includeonly
We don't use includeonly very often. It's only really used when the template to be transcluded just won't work locally for whatever reason and ends up looking like garbage. There's no harm in leaving the template show itself above the documentation. And in fact, it can be helpful during template modifications, since that's the only way you can see what the changes you're making will do. -- Sekoia 18:58, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
- Good to know. I just tossed it in there due to the symbol above the documentation transclusion. —Thirty7 03:20, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
Userboxen
Hiya! I saw your updated veteran time generic userbox and thought it was a fabulous idea, so {{Userbox Issue}} was born! ~ AGGE talk/cons 06:53, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Coolness! I liked the idea of a Vet box... but now with Freedom and the deprecation of the numbered badges... and wanted an alternative, I thought the issue method worked well. :) Glad you liked the idea. —Thirty7 05:10, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
Enemy Templates and Images
Just wanted to say thanks for the work you're doing on the enemy templates and the custom images you're uploading to go along with them. Really enjoying some of the images and the changes look much better where the templates are used in articles. --Eabrace 20:34, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
- Glad you like them!! That's something that has bothered me for a LONG time... since I first started visiting the Wiki. If you have suggestions, you can edit them in on my User:Thirty7/Projects page, just put a note there or something so I know it wasn't my idea. :) —Thirty7 21:09, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
Forum PM
Hey Thirty7! I sent you a PM on our forums last week but hadn't heard back from you. I just wanted to make sure you'd received it since they're sometimes easy to miss, plus I understand you don't have easy access to the forums. If you'd rather follow up via email, my email is sekoia@cohtitan.com. Thanks! -- Sekoia 19:45, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
- I will take a look over there, I almost NEVER look at those forums... though I should. Thanks for the heads up. —Thirty7 21:10, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Table
o.o looks like I got some #s for your cards, want me to keep dumping them in or? --Sleepykitty 15:20, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up, Sleepy... but I think the link I just noted on that Talk page already takes care of most of it, feel free to add to that page with what info you have, or even MORE helpfully, feel free to continue to add to the one in my Projects that will eventually replace both tables on the Super Pack/Heroes and Villains page (User:Thirty7/Projects/H&V Table). —Thirty7 15:34, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Old Mission Templates
In reply to your comment: "don't see why this is a template, and not just in mission namespace"
If you look at the history for that template, you'll see that it was created back in 2006. The Mission namespace didn't come along until much, much later. Those old mission templates are another thing I'm working on sorting out as I go through and update the contacts. (But I won't be offended if they've already been fixed before I reach those contacts.) --Eabrace 15:26, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- As I got to looking at them more, I realized that. I don't recall exactly where I said that, but my general point in making the assertion was so that folks knew that it seemed silly to me to use Templates for anything with regard to actual mission/story arc content... and that we didn't have to. It seemed like Agge and folks kept saying "unless used by multiple contacts" which seemed odd to keep saying since that was no longer necessary either. —Thirty7 03:43, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- I've been working down the list of Hero Contacts from top to bottom. For each contact, I look at whether or not they are specific to an origin. If they are, I look to see if they are unique to that level range. For example, note the number of Level 20-24 contacts that are all Natural origin. By way of game mechanics, each of those contacts offer the same missions (both arc and non-arc), but may not all have all of the non-arc missions documented on their page. I generally open all related pages in separate tabs, and begin by moving any missions that haven't been put in the Mission namespace to separate pages. Then I move missions that are in template form but not in the Mission namespace to the Mission namespace and make sure before deleting the original template that all pages listed in "what links here" have been updated with the new mission name in the Mission namespace. Then I collect all of the templates into a single consolidated list (alphabetizing helps to sort all that out) and paste the full list back into each contact's article. Save each contact, and we're done with that level range and origin.
- You're right. It's a bit of a tangled mess. :) --Eabrace 14:11, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
Badges with Parentheticals
To link a badge with a parenthetical using the template, such as Gate Crasher on the Dilemma Diabolique Trial page, use {{BadgeLink|Gate Crasher|Achievement}}. This is noted on the documentation page for the template. Draeth Darkstar 02:25, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
- Good to know. —Thirty7 16:23, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
- Although, the reason I undid the link was also because it was quite likely to receive a change in name, thus meaning that page would need to be edited again anyway, regardless of what badge it links to. —Thirty7 05:56, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
Small Portrait images
hey man, could you add small portrait images, like the small contact images, http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Category:Small_Villain_Contact_Images, of the various types of IDF forces and the new praetorians like: Siege, Praetorian Malaise, The new Black swan and shadowhunter, tyrant, and pendragon, please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lichlord08 (talk • contribs)

a little hard to explain but i've collected those images since cov first came out, i use the portraits as part of a document i've been working on since coh came out, and while the game is free to play right now, i can't afford to pay for incarnate content and such. one way to get those images, if they are available for you is to use those characters as mission contacts in AE. another is when you see the enemy, click on the action tab under there health and click info. these are among the last images in need for the document and i would be indebted if they could apprear on this site. if you're having trouble could you ask some of the others like blondeshell or guyperfect if they could find them please? thanks in advance.
