Overview
General Z is a boss level ally with a faction of Soldier. His real name is General Howard Aarons.
Heroes can find him:
- twice during the Mysterious General Z story arc from Christine Lansdale.
- (As "General Aarons") during the mission Help with Conference Security, as a NPC.
- (As "General Aarons") during the mission Serpent Drummer's Rescue Captives from the Nemesis Army, as a NPC and an Ally.
Villains can find him:
- (As "General Aarons") during the mission Help with Conference Security, as a NPC.
- (As "General Aarons") during the mission Serpent Drummer's Rescue Captives from the Nemesis Army, as a NPC and an Ally.
(IMPORTANT, POSSIBLE BUG: During mission Rescue Captives from the Nemesis Army, where he appears as an ally, General Aarons is presented as a Boss; He is not. During my mission, (Heroic, Solo) he had the hit points typical of a Pet of my level, and conned as +1, just like a Pet. His attacks weren't those of a Boss-level mob either. Taking into account that he's a mission objective and must survive or you will fail the mission, my advice is to treat him as a Pet and avoid unpleasant surprises.)
Quotes
During the mission Help with Conference Security, in the peace talks with the Rikti Traditionalists, he's the negotiator for the Earth side:
Briefing
I am General Aarons, government liaison to these peace negotiations. Every time I think I've seen it all, something unbelievable happens.
Not too long ago we were invaded by these Rikti aliens. Worst day in history, worse than Brass Monday or even D-Day when the 5th Column blew the heck out of Independence Port. Sad... sad day.
But now, here I am standing across a table from a Rikti Traditionalist trying to sign a peace treaty. They seem like they mean it, like they want to stop the bloodshed, but if I've learned one thing in all my years, it's that you have to learn to expect the unexpected.
Good day, Character.
During the mission Rescue Captives from the Nemesis Army, he will have been captured by the Nemesis soldiers and must be saved:
Once free: C'mon. Let's get the others
If refound: Alright, quit grinning at the old man having a senile moment, and let's get cracking.
