The Monitor bank is one of the  medium level Tech Auxiliary [[Base Control Items]].
It provides a good combination of price and [[Energy]] consumption vs. Control production, and is commonly used across small and midsize technological bases to help support the Control production provided by the main Control Item, either [[Mainframe]] or [[Supercomputer]]
