E-Vap is a lost soul indeed. It is understood that in his younger days, he was employed by Longbow. He was put through intensive training, and countless experiments. One of which, gave him the uncanny ability to produce fire by raising his body temperature.

While enlisted, he found friendship within teammate, Static Overdrive. While on a routine partol of Brickstown, word came of a bank robbery in progress. As longbow rushed into the bank, unaware of what lies inside, the two friends were seperated. Static and the rest of Longbow were trying to secure the lobby, while E-Vap ran straight for the vault. Always known for being hot-headed, E-Vap rushed in alone, hoping to stop the attackers by himself. Just as the lobby started to clear out, everyone was thrown to the floor by a large explosion. As the Longbow prepared to rush to the vault, they were frozen in their tracks by the sight before them.
There stood E-Vap, engulfed in flames, holding the lifeless body of a young villain. Murder was not part of the assignment, only to capture and detain. While overwhelmed in his own rage, Static Overdrive began to decimate E-Vap with surges of electricity. While everyone was told to evacuate the building, the two heroes remained, fighting for their lives. It is not known what occured inside the Brickstown Bank that day. All that is known is that Static Overdrive emerged through flames and rubble, and E-Vap was nowhere to be seen.
Years later, E-Vap would appear with a new look and twisted state of mind. Along with him, came The Villains Of Forgotten Times, a vicious group seeking revenge for being cast aside. E-Vap formed this group along with Eeezy Money, Steamvent, and Nuclear Freak. Together they have caused death, destruction, and pure carnage.
E-Vap's main purpose these days, is to kill Static Overdrive. His former best friend, now sworn enemy.
