Since nobody has bothered to take up the torch to finish in a year, I wonder whether there's actually a need for it. We don't often provide printable and non-printable versions of the same content, since that requires making updates in two locations. It might be better to try to incorporate some of your design elements into the design of the main page. I personally think the main page's look is a bit too busy and spaced-out, and like some elements of your design better.
