== Mantid Animations ==

I've just finished uploading all the Ghost Widow emote animations from Mantid's guide, and patching any emotes without GW animations with Mantid animations; would you prefer that I upload the rest of the Mantid animations for posterity, since his guide is unlikely to remain online? There are 137 Mantid animations that haven't been uploaded, totaling 32.5MB.

Two other things, related to [[Template:Emote Animation|Emote Animation]]:

# Some of the emote pages (such as [[Emote Dance|Dance]]) have multiple emotes displayed on them, because the specified emote picks one at random. Right now I'm just stuffing <nowiki>{{Emote Animation|emote=...}}</nowiki> into a table, but it doesn't look so hot, since the warning caption at the top is duplicated. I'm certain there's a better way to manage this, I'm just not in the mood to think about it after uploading some hundred-odd images of Ghost Widow and a handful of Mantid.

# The [[:Category:Emote Animations|Emote Animations]] category isn't organized at all. Because pages are added to it by the [[Template:Emote Animation|Emote Animation]] template, there's currently no way to sort the categorization, as I've pointed out at the [[Template talk:Emote Animation|template's talk page]]. It's simply '''C'''s for Costume Change Emotes, and '''E'''s for Emotes. I'm curious if you or anyone else who's more wiki-savvy than I know a way to do this without having to manually enter the emote name on each page as a parameter.

My god man. Sometimes I go on creation/edit sprees, but I've never done that much :D Good work!!!

# We could create a second template, Emote Animation2, that does not create the warning and allows up to ten animation names as parameters that will auto-populate a table... although that's a little beyond me and would likely need [[User:Sekoia]]'s or somebody else's finesse. :D

# Put the category in Gameplay for now. There's probably a better place for it, but at least it's got a category now. And I don't know any way to do that without putting in a parameter. :(

:Sorting:  Well, if we were to use <nowiki>{{{PAGENAME}}}</nowiki> that would sort by the name of the page, but that's what we've already got going on.  I wonder if there's a way to dynamically strip the word "Emote" (or the words "Costume Emote") from the front of the value that returns.  If so, we could pop that into the template and each page would automagically find its own place in the sort order.  'Course, that's assuming I understand what you're wanting to do with sorting on that page. --[[User:Eabrace|Eabrace]] [[File:Healthbar notify phone.png|20px|link=User talk:Eabrace]] 06:16, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
