Expanding

This seems like a good place to give a more in-depth overview on control. Instead of just listing hold, stun, fear, etc. they could be each detailed out a bit more -- explained what each are, and how they compare. References to other archetypes would be nice too -- every archetype has access to control powers, not just controllers and dominators. Could be helpful to see the difference between "hard control" and "soft control" explained. Might be good to expand on the notion of "secondary effects". Might also mention procs since they can introduce control to powers. I'm not sure that a listing of the Controller and Dominator control powers is all that useful, we can already get that information elsewhere on the wiki if we want it (on the powerset pages). Anyway, just some random thoughts for stuff that could be added, for my future reference if nobody else wants to add it. I know I won't have time to get to any of that in the immediate future but I'm bookmarking this to come back to, there's a lot of important info that could go in this article. :D -- Sekoia 14:09, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Just a note

Some people might come to this page looking for information on Control as it relates to a Supergroup base. - Snorii 18:40, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

o.o we need to find a good cat for this page too..

Additions Welcome

Hey, I'm the one that started the Control page. I just made what's on now to kickstart ideas, and I'm very glad this page was started. Since I am new to the site, I'm not able to do a whole lot with it...I'm not too good with the coding, so what I can do is limited. I figured what I have done will get people to make it a group effort, like what seems common around here...sorry if I have the wrong impression of the site. I am planning on doing more work on it when I get the chance, but for now, anyone wanting to add on to it is more than welcome.

My comments weren't meant to mean "You should do this!". I just wanted to note some ideas so that if anyone else wanted to get to them sooner, they could -- and so I wouldn't forget what I was thinking when I do eventually get around to it. I don't know when I'll get a chance, I'm shorter on time than I'd like of late. :) What you've started is very appreciated! -- Sekoia 22:24, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
