-The police band tuner is considered a contact, and functions much like the villains' Rogue Isles Protector. The user tunes in to one of three random crimes being commited at the time. The user then may select one as a mission and complete it for credit to a Detective they have in that zone. Once enough Police Band missions have been done, the user may see their Detective for a Safeguard Mission.
