Definition
Enhancement Diminishing Returns, most often called Enhancement Diversification by the developers and players, is the effect whereby the effects of enhancements are diminished when the total enhancement is above a certain percentage.
This game mechanic came into being with the release of Issue 6 and City of Villains as "Enhancement Diversification". The use of "Enhancement Diminishing Returns" to describe this effect came into use with the release of Issue 19 and the Incarnate and Alpha Slot features.
