Flavor of the Month
- A game element that gains sudden popularity, followed by a rapid equalization after its novelty wears off. This is generally restricted to Archetypes and specific Power Set combinations, but is not always the case. For some "Flavor of the Month" combinations, the novelty does not degrade with time, ensuring it to be a popular choice for years on end.
Examples include:
- Controller using Illusion Control and Radiation Emission
- Brute using Electric Melee and Shield Defense
- Blaster using Fire Blast and Mental Manipulation
