Overview

Snipers are dangerous enemies, as they lie in wait for a Hero or Villain target to present themselves and attack mercilessly. As a subset of "normal" enemies, they have their own "Sniper" designation and unique behaviour. They are equipped with very long range attacks, and appear to always be alert (aggroed). Snipers won't move unless the player attacks them, where they will attempt to move out to engage their ranged attacks.

Snipers are usually found alone, outdoors, lying in wait for a target to present themselved. They have very long range and see through stealth easilly.

Unlike other villain group, Nemesis often makes use of Snipers inside missions. It is not uncommon for players to come under fire of several snipers, each hidden inside a different spawn. Thankfully, snipers do not aggro their spawnmates when they open fire.

Note

While some enemies use long range attacks and they include the term "sniper", there is a difference to the class of enemy "Sniper". Examples of those not classed as Snipers include Family and Mook Hitmen (Lieutenant), who have a sniper attack, but do not lie in wait.
