I actually have more to add to this article. I have created a method of accurately measuring the scale of maps and created some moderately complex math equations to do stuff like pinpoint the exact pixel where a location is on a map, even on transformed maps such as maps that are zoomed, cropped, etc. It was all the basis for a grand project that I started and haven't finished (isn't that always the way) for a map generator site. Who knows, maybe I'll actually wrap it up at some point. http://pcfreepress.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif | I actually have more to add to this article. You know, I was looking at the modified Hollows map just now and realized that I'd never noticed they use a left-handed coordinate system for the zones. No wonder I always get so confused when I'm trying to figure out which axis is which. --Eabrace 23:33, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
