The Weaver is believed to be the original founder of the terrorist organization Arachnos. The Weaver used Arachnos to help bring Benito Mussolini to power in Italy. It is also rumored that Arachnos had a hand in bringing Mussolini down.
The Weaver was assassinated by the Red Widow at the behest of one of his top lieutenants, Lord Recluse.
At last report the Weaver is dead, assassinated by the Red Widow at Lord Recluse’s request. You know how it is though…it’s hard to keep a good villain down.[1]
