Dude, this is a million times better than the way it is currently. By having all three articles virtually the same, it is rather confusing, merging them and then using definitions and links is much better IMO. My only thought is that perhaps the page should be called "Account Types." —Thirty7 05:15, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm a bit unsure of "Account Types" as a title (though it should certainly redirect). The article doesn't just discuss the types of accounts. It also discusses the various features an account may have (which are admittedly partially related to the account type, yet still represent a distinct topic). I'd also want to leave the door open in case we want to add any more general account-related information. For example, the article might benefit from more directly introducing and linking to the Paragon Market and the Paragon Rewards Program. -- Sekoia 06:35, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'm a fan. I moved some stuff around that I didn't notice while I was cleaning up the Premium page. Freebies can't play MA at all; freebies can receive mail but not send; freebies cannot initiate or receive trades. Might want to note somewhere that free and premium players cannot get rid of the Paragon Market clicky icon even if they have it disabled in options, but I don't know where that would be best placed. Additionally, the overview should be slightly reworded so that it's two account types (free and subscription), of which free breaks down into two subtypes; the account management page calls both free and premium accounts "free" and I see frequent questions about why a premium player's account is labeled free (answer: because you're not paying a subscription! lol) -- however, I have no idea how to present that concisely :p ~ AGGE talk/cons 06:54, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
