Overview
Alignment Missions are obtained from Tips dropped by enemies. They are part of the process for changing or reaffirming a character's alignment.
Completing an Alignment Mission will award characters with one point of Public Fame aligned with the mission - provided the character is eligible for that alignment and does not currently have five points of Public Fame. Whenever a point of Public Fame is awarded, a character will earn a corresponding Alignment Point - up to a maximum of 10 points. Note that completing an Alignment Mission that you are aligned with even if owned by someone else will still earn you Public Fame (per the rules for Public Fame).
Example
Hauptmann Neinhosen is a Villain character with no Alignment Points and no Public Fame. If Hauptmann Neinhosen completes a Villain Alignment Mission, he will earn one point of Villain Public Fame and one Villain Alignment Point. Similarly, completing a Rogue Alignment Mission would earn one point of Rogue Public Fame and a Rogue Alignment Point. Since Hauptmann Neinhosen is a Villain and Villains cannot become Vigilantes, he cannot complete a Vigilante Alignment Mission.
Mission Alignment
The Alignment Missions a character will have access to will depend on their current alignment and location when viewing a Tip.
Note
Even players who have not applied a Going Rogue code to their account can access Alignment Missions and earn Alignment Points and Public Fame. They cannot, however, continue on to the Morality Missions required to actually change or reaffirm alignment.
