Last mission of Shadow Shard is drastically different
Playing through Naylor's missions, when I got to the end of "Bravo for the Shadow Shard," I found the mission far less complicated than what is explained here. (The computer is a regular glowie you can hit yourself, the 2 native rescues are optional, Rimsey doesn't seem to be a part of the mission anymore, and there is a single boss [a named Ballista] that needs to be defeated.)
As far as i remember, this mission is how it was on live. The intricacies of missions and objectives have no been changed on any server, as far as I know. And I was playing this on Rebirth, which aims to keep the game closer to the original than others.
Anyway, if there's no objection, I will probably be rewriting the section on this mission in the near future.
Multidimensional Badge
Apparently, you can no longer get the Multidimensional Badge from Naylor. [1]. It also appears that they have removed the badge from all villains. - Snorii 13:31, 9 June 2006 (PDT)
yups, they actually went through with it... BTW, EASTER EGG! o.o if no one recognizes it, Grant Naylor is the writer of Red Dwarf!! --Sleepy Kitty 03:02, 29 September 2006 (PDT)
- More properly, authors: Rob Grant and Doug Naylor (the novelizations they wrote were under the nom de plume of Grant Naylor). All sorts of Red Dwarf references in Technician Naylor's missions. -- Urizen (Talk to me) 02:09, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Gossip
- I hearn Character is working on some secret project about travelling to other dimensions. Now that's a scary thought.
- I heard the Nemesis Army has backed off Character. I wonder why?
