Cap, Port

Hey, I noticed you created duplicate articles Cap and Port for Cap au Diable and Port Oakes. You can just create redirects instead by using syntax like this in, for example, the Port article:

#REDIRECT [[Port Oakes]]

Then it'll point users to the Port Oakes article. That way we only have to maintain one copy of the article. I've replaced the new duplicate articles with redirects, if you'd like to make changes to the zone articles, please do so at their existing pages. Thanks! -- Sekoia 03:30, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey Thebog1

I see that you are going on quite a tear for these zone articles.  :) I just noticed that one of them (maybe all) had "Lvl." rather than "Level". In most cases, this wiki tries to avoid abbreviations as much as possible. Be sure to check out this post made by Tony back in '06. Cheers! - Snorii 16:39, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

I notice that even after responding to Snorii, you're still using "lvl" instead of "level". As Snorii said, the wiki tries to avoid using abbreviations. It's especially undesirable to replace existing un-abbreviated words with abbreviations, as you did in this revision. Please refrain from using abbreviations where possible, and especially avoid replacing existing words with abbreviations. I notice in your response to Snorii that you justify using them because abbreviations are already in place elsewhere; please understand that not everything on the wiki is always up to perfect standards, and that those few instances of abbreviations should really be replaced by non-abbreviations at some point. Ashley McKnight

Actually, Ashley will offer both Golden Roller and Marshal Brass. I just did the Origin of Power arc and she offered both of them to me separate from the missions. I kept having to make sure I picked "Ask about available missions" instead of "Be introduced to a new contact."--Blondeshell 06:25, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
