Team Vambrace were a famous hero combo Golden age. The team was comprised of scientist James St. John-Smythe, the designer of the Vambrace armor, and ex-football hero Brandon Warfield, the suit's wearer. Both were co-founders of The Freedom Phalanx which was founded on July 4, 1932.
