I am fairly sure that Issue 20 is '''not''' a "major revision" (in my opinion!). It does not revise old content. It ''does'' add new content and (some) new features that sit beside existing features. I would call it a major update rather than a major revision. [[User:Taosin|Taosin]] 05:21, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

GR Required

Note: the Incarnate System will be available exclusively to those who purchase the Going Rogue expansion.

I'm not certain this is correct. It's true that the February Producers letter says:

...every player with a level 50 character and who has Going Rogue can get into this endgame and profit by it if they so choose.

But it seems to me that he's only referring to the trials themselves, no to all of the Incarnate content. See later in the same letter:

For our more casual players, we have added an option for you to continue to build your way up the Incarnate Tree by collecting Incarnate Shards without doing any Incarnate Trials--you will even get Incarnate Shards when you are exemplared down.

(emphasis mine)

It seems odd that they would create a system by which their casual players could obtain Incarnate rewards slowly over time, and yet force them to have a paid expansion. Casual players would be the ones least likely to have GR in the first place.  FW (talk · contrib 23:41, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

In this example, I think what they mean by casual players are players who don't repeatedly grind for badge requirements, or those who solo more often than not due to limited play time and whatnot. Sera404 00:00, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
The Incarnate System was originally planned to be released with Going Rogue, as a part of Going Rogue. It was pushed back because the Alpha Slot with nothing to do with the boosts it gives was boring. [1] Just because it was pushed back doesn't mean it doesn't require it anymore. It does. I do not have Going Rogue, and my account which I re-upped yesterday does not have access to anything dealing with the Incarnate System. ~ AGGE talk/cons 01:08, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
The devs have repeatedly stated that it is available only to purchasers of GR. They have said this so many times that it really needs no source. It's a confirmed fact. Catwhowalksbyhimself 06:15, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

Major Revision or Major Update?

I am fairly sure that Issue 20 is not a "major revision" (in my opinion!). It does not revise old content. It does add new content and (some) new features that sit beside existing features. I would call it a major update rather than a major revision. Taosin 05:21, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

Revision means, at its basics, "not the same after as before" - which every single patch in the game's history is a revision (Issues are differentiated by being "major revisions" - i.e. "not a minor patch"). Revision is another word for update. ~ AGGE talk/cons 11:43, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
